Hello and happy 2025!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.

This month we are sharing projects based on our Color Challenge!  I am sure that you will find lots of different interpretations and inspiration from this fun color combination.

Today's Project

Whew!  It's been awhile since I've blogged.  Feels so good to be back!!!  Today's color challenge came at the perfect time as I'm needing a few birthday cards to send to some special ladies in my life.  How would this challenge inspire you?

Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - Feb 2025 Color Challenge

We're having a nice mix of snow and freezing rain here today so I was in the mood to color some flowers...

Project Details

Today's project is full of new goodies from our Online Exclusives and the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog!  Hands down the Mixed Florals stamp set is my favorite so you will be seeing some more inspiration from me over the next several weeks.

Using all the colors in the challenge, it was a must to color the coneflowers as a yellow variety.  The image was stamped with Pecan Pie ink onto Basic White cardstock.  The cone-shaped central disk were colored with the Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends while the downward petals were colored with both shades of Daffodil Delight.  The stems and leaves were colored with Light Granny Apple Green and Light Mossy Meadow to create a shade of Garden Green.  The small wildflowers were colored with Light Boho Blue and dotted with Dark Boho Blue.  The colored image was die-cut using the coordinating die.

The circle image from the Online Exclusive Elements of Text stamp set was stamped on a Basic White cardstock layer and distressed along the edges with my Bone Folder.

The focal die-cut was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Linen Thread was double wrapped around the layer tying it off with a bow before adhering it to a Pecan Pie cardstock layer.

The Antique Pearls were the perfect finishing touch, don't you think?!

The inside layers were replicated to compliment the card front.  The Beautiful Butterflies sentiments were perfect for creating a birthday wish.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were stamped and colored to complete the card ensemble.

More Inspiration

I hope that you have enjoyed this color challenge and will use it yourself to create some cards for friends and family.  Up next on the blog hop is Annette where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created.  I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration!  And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment...  we love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!
