Today's Project

I cannot believe that Sale-a-Bration ends tomorrow!!!  These two months of this fabulous extra items from Stampin' Up!® has been so quick!  Today's color inspiration challenge was a perfect way to show you ideas of what you can buy to make a card to earn an incredible FREE stamp set based on what you have purchased.

Project Details

I had so much fun using all the colors from this color challenge.  Pulling out all my Stampin' Blends in the colors except for Coastal Cabana (I replaced it with my retired Light Bermuda Bay), this 4" square piece of the Mixed Media Florals DSP was quickly colored.  Shading was easily added by following the shaded areas of the DSP.  Summer Splash Cardstock created to the perfect layer for the Thick Basic White 5" square cardbase.

The Hearts of Elegance sentiment was white heat embossed on Basic Black cardstock.

Three Summer Splash shimmer gems were the perfect touch to complete this simple card.

The inside was colored and layered to compliment the card front.  The custom envelope was created with our retired envelope board and a sheet of Calypso Coral Two-Tone Cardstock included in the Storybook Life 12" x 12" Two-Tone Cardstock pack.

If you love coloring as much as I do, I highly recommend that you place an order before 11:59 PM MT tomorrow, February 28th, to earn the amazing Corner in Bloom stamp set!  This is in the higher SAB reward section so don't overlook it.

Once again all the colors were used to create this card!  The image was colored with Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Melon Mambo, Summer Splash and my retired Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends.  Splatters were added by gently flicking the brush tips of the Coastal Cabana and Azure Afternoon Stampin' Write Markers.

The Unbounded Love sentiment was white heat embossed on Coastal Cabana cardstock.

A layer of Summer Splash cardstock was added before adhering to the Coastal Cabana cardbase.  Three Tiny Bee Trinkets were added as the perfect finishing touch.
