Hello friends! I hope that you are doing well on this first Friday of December! Today I am hopping with some friends along the Keep Christ in Christmas Insta Hop over on Instagram. Please be sure to hop over there to see all the inspirations for the reason of the season!
Today's Project
Today's project consists of several retired stamp sets from my stash. Holy Triptych (© 2007 Stampin' Up!) has this holy family image along with two other Christmas story images with a fourth image being a flourishing border frame. This stamp set was the first nativity stamp set I purchased from Stampin' Up!® so it is well loved.
Inspired by my favorite specialty DSP that coordinated with the Night Divine Stamp Set last year, I knew that Night of Navy and gold embossing was a must for today's project.
The retired Night Divine background sentiment was gold heat embossed with Metallics WOW! Embossing Powder down the center of the Night of Navy cardstock layer. The embossed layer was adhered to Gold Foil layer with Tear & Tape Adhesive and Multipurpose Liquid Glue to allow for some wiggle room.
The retired holy family image was stamped with Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock and die-cut with the Online Exclusive Greetings of the Season Dies. The tag was diecut five additional times to build a solid foundation of the tag image for mailing. The tags were slightly trimmed, stacked and adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. New Online Exclusive Gold Twisted Thread was doubled, tied into a bow and adhered to cover the hole in tag with three Mini Glue Dots.
The adhered layered were adhered to the Night of Navy cardbase with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The inside was stamped, layered and embossed to compliment the card front. The retired God's Blessings sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink. The retired Joyful Nativity star was heat embossed with Gold WOW! Embossing Powder. The Basic White Medium Envelope front was stamped with a retired Joyful Nativity scene and a retired Night Divine sentiment to complete the card ensemble.
