Wildflower Designs in Balmy Blue for the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop

Hello friends!  Happy November!!!  I hope you are doing well on this first Friday of November!  Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Monochromatic Insta Hop over on Instagram.  Please be sure to hop over there to see all the inspirations using this week's color - Balmy Blue!

Today's Project

Today's project is using what I refer to as "baby boy blue" from our Subtles Color Collection - Balmy Blue!  I thoroughly enjoyed playing with it today to accentuate its soft subtle tones... I hope that it will get you loving it as much as I enjoyed using it for this project.

The Wildflower Designs Bundle was a must for showcasing these tones of soft blue!

The various wildflowers were stamped several times each with Balmy Blue ink on Basic White cardstock.  The stamped images were colored with both shades of Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends and die-cut with the coordinating dies.

The largest Wildflower Designs Die was die-cut from Basic White cardstock.  The frame from the die-cut was off-stamped with Balmy Blue ink using the texture image.  Each end of the frame was layered and cute to create a chevron pattern on the right side of the large Basic White die-cut.  The wildflower die-cuts were adhered to the Basic White die-cut with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.

A Balmy Blue cardstock layer was blended with Balmy Blue ink along the corners and edges.  The edges were distressed with my Paper Snips.

Extra Basic White Regal Flora frames from a previous project were colored with both shades of Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends.  The frames were grouped, aligned with the lower edge of the large Basic White die-cut and adhered to the distressed Balmy Blue cardstock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The decorated Basic White die-cut was centered, aligned and adhered to distressed Balmy Blue layer with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The distressed layer was adhered to the Balmy Blue cardbase with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Grateful Blessing sentiment was stamped with Balmy Blue ink, fussycut and adhered with a Foam Adhesive Strip.

The Iridescent Pearls were colored with the Dark Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend for a finishing touch.

The inside was layered, distressed and colored to compliment the card front allowing room to correspond to the recipient.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were stamped to complete the card ensemble.
