Hello and Happy Gratitude Month! I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do! We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you. There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.
This month we are sharing projects based on our CAS Challenge! I am sure that you will find lots of different interpretations and inspiration from this fun sketch.
Today's Project
This is my favorite time of year! The temperatures are starting to get cooler and the trees are looking gorgeous in their colors before they fall to the ground. There is so much to be thankful for! I for one am thankful for all of you and all the people I have met through Stampin' Up! who are like family to me.
This is the month where I try to make as many Christmas cards as I can to send to my friends and family after Thanksgiving later this month. There is nothing like receiving handmade Christmas cards during the holidays.
I hope that today's project will inspire you to get busy making some multiple cards in complimentary colors!
Project Details
The Decorative Trees Bundle was my pick for our Clean and Simple Challenge.
There are so many amazing dies in this bundle that you can make a delightful variety of this same layout once you get your system in place.
I chose to do all my die-cutting first.
It is quickest to work with our Adhesive Sheets for the delicate die-cuts. It is such a time savor!
I have been enjoying making monochromatic cards lately so it was enjoyable to create these cards along the same idea.
Three simple score lines vertically and horizontally along the bottom are touches that I love to add to clean and simple cards with minimal stamping.
The trees, card bases and ink were all the same color for each card so making multiples of the same color would be a breeze!
The insides were stamped, scored and diecut to compliment the card fronts. The Greetings of the Season sentiment was stamped with the coordinating ink. The Basic White Medium Envelope fronts and flaps for the cards will be stamped once these cards have all been replicated several times.
I chose my fav greens/blues from the Subtles Color Collection - Soft Sea Foam, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party.
Which colors would you choose?
More Inspiration
I hope that you have enjoyed this CAS project and will use it yourself to create some cards for friends and family. Up next on the blog hop is Leonie where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created. I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration! And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment... we love to hear from you.
