Hello friends!  I hope that you are doing well on this last Friday of November!  Today I am hopping with some new friends along the Keep Christ in Christmas Insta Hop over on Instagram.  Please be sure to hop over there to see all the inspirations for the reason of the season!

Today's Project

Today's project is from one of our Online Exclusives stamp sets - So Very Merry.  This angel stained glass image is definitely a favorite of mine... and it just may be one of yours, too.

The color palette originated from this piece of Country Lace Designer Series Paper (aka DSP) that I so wanted to use.  The soft distressed eyelet pattern had a rustic touch that just called out to me as I envisioned cedar pines outside the white clapboard church with stained glass windows from Christmas memories with my paternal grandparents.

The angel image was stamped in Basic Beige ink onto Basic White cardstock and diecut with the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes circle.  Three additional circles were diecut for layering onto the DSP.

The outer band was colored with a Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Marker.  The angel was colored with Ivory, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers.  The sky was colored with Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Markers.

The DSP was adhered to a slightly larger Basic White Cardstock layer.

The Basic Beige 3/8" Bordered Ribbon was wrapped around the adhered card layers and tied off with a bow.

The Shepherd's Care sentiment was stamped onto Basic White cardstock scraps and diecut with the Stylish Shapes banner.  The banner was adhered to the ribbon with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

The Basic Beige cardstock layer was double embossed  - first with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and second with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder.  It looks so wonderful in person!

The embossed layer was adhered to the Basic Beige card base.

The inside was stamped, layered and embossed to compliment the card front.  The Mistletoe Magic sentiments were individually stamped with Basic Beige ink.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front was stamped to complete the card ensemble.
