Today's Project

Today's project is using one of our Regals Color Collection colors that makes me think of my friends across the pond whenever I use it throughout the year - Gorgeous Grape!  This purple made a move within our color families during our last Color Refresh... and it is definitely fitting in this Color Collection.  I thoroughly enjoyed playing with it today to accentuate its regal tones... I hope that it will get you loving it as much as I enjoyed using it for this project.

The Simply Zinnia Stamp Set was a must for showcasing these royal tones of purple!

The zinnia image was stamped with Pebbled Path ink on Basic White Cardstock, damp watercolored with the Fine Tip Water Painter, and lovingly fussy cut with Paper Snips Scissors though I have the coordinating die.

The backdrop of our (new!) Gorgeous Grape Two-Tone Cardstock was triple layered as light, light and dark and torn along the bottom edges.  The top layer torn on the dark side embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder on the light side and distressed a bit more with a Sand Eraser.  The adhered torn layers were adhered to a Basic White Cardstock layer embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  All four layers were adhered to a Gorgeous Grape layer being sure to align across the top and centering along the sides and bottom.

The zinnias were adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals (behind the blooms) and Multipurpose Liquid Glue (stems, select leaves).

Basic White Baker's Twine was wrapped around the Stylish Shapes large banner and tied off with a bow.

The sentiment was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink on the Basic White Stylish Shapes banner.

Both banners were adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Three Iridescent Pearls were colored with the Gorgeous Grape Stampin' Write Marker for a finishing touch.

The inside was stamped, layered and embossed to compliment the card front allowing room to correspond to the recipient.  The Basic White Medium Envelope flap was embossed to complete the card ensemble.
