Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am hopping with the New at SU! Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showcasing products from the September-December 2024 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog and/or Online Exclusives.
Today's project is all about Sketches - Crafter's Secret Design Tool! So let's flip to page 16 of your Mini Catalog and look at the sketches! I chose the tag sketch in the fourth row and second column.
Creating this Christmas card was fun. The minute I was the sketch, I imagined a wreath with the Online Exclusives Golden Greenery Bundle.
Project Details...
Drawing color inspiration from the coordinating Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper, I chose Old Olive and Mossy Meadow as the colors for the greenery. The images were stamped on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies.
The smallest bell was stamped with Wild Wheat ink to create a lovely antiqued looking bell dangling from the Gold 1/8" Trim ribbon. The coordinating die created the perfect opening for threading the ribbon.
The Greetings of the Season sentiments were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and fussy cut. The Unbounded Love Dies had the perfect die for a strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock that was wrapped with the Gold 1/8" Trim ribbon and tied off with a bow.
The Timber embossed Basic White cardstock layer is representative of a wood door.
Splatters of Mossy Meadow ink were added with the brush tip of my Stampin' Write Marker.
Gold Blooming Pearls were added as the finishing touch.
The inside was stamped to compliment the card front. The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were also stamped to complete the card ensemble.
More inspiration is just around the corner. I hope you have been inspired to create a project from any of these fabulous sketches on page 16 of our September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Sharing our handmade projects with others are a sure way to get them smiling. Now it's time to continue along the blog hop - you're currently with me, Angie McKenzie, at #11 - to get more inspiration from the others... so look at the list below and continue along. But before you do, please take a moment to leave a comment before you hop along to the next post. We love reading your comments!
