Flowers of Beauty for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - October 2024 | Color Challenge

Today's Project

Today's project is a fall encouragement card.  This month's color challenge of Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape and Basic Black was a real challenge for this nature lover!  I finally found the perfect stamp sets for this challenge using the stamp sets from the Unbounded Beauty Suite Collection.

Project Details

The Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder is the background highlight for these Flowers of Beauty stamped florals.  

Colored with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends and Gorgeous Grape ink with a Blender Pen, the images were alternated to create a classic pattern.  

The colored layer was adhered to Basic Black cardstock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Basic Black Baker's Twine was doubled, wrapped around the layers and tied off with a bow.  The tied layers were adhered to the embossed layer with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Unbounded Beauty sentiments were stamped on a coordinating Basic White die-cut framed with Basic Black.  The two die-cuts were adhered to the coordinating stitched Basic White die-cut.  The sentiment was adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Iridescent Faceted Gems were added as a finishing touch.

The inside was layered, stamped and colored to compliment the card front leaving plenty of room to correspond to the recipient.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap was stamped to complete the card ensemble.
