Festive & Fun Snow Crystal for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop - December 2023

Today's Project

Today I am sharing some Christmas cards that I made for some accountability buddies of mine.  We met through a personal development program and have been meeting every Thursday evening for three years!  Our mentor's mascot is the rhino so the Festive & Fun stamp set was a must for these cards.

Project Details

The Snow Crystal background stamp was white heat embossed on Balmy Blue cardstock,  The background of darkened through blending Misty Moonlight ink with a Blending Brush in the center with Night of Navy along the outer edges.  The snowflake was wiped gently with a microfiber cloth removing excess ink.

The Festive & Fun image was stamped with Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock.  The images were colored with Light Misty Moonlight, Dark/Light Balmy Blue, Light Night of Navy, Dark/Light Crumb Cake, Dark Smoky Slate, Light Mossy Meadow, Dark Real Red, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blends. 

The Brightest Glow sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink on 1/2" strips of Basic White scraps.  The sentiment was trimmed before adhering over a ruffled piece of Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The inside was layered and stamped to compliment the card front.  The Sparkling Snowflake medium detailed image was stamped and off-stamped with Misty Moonlight ink along the inside edge of the Basic White cardstock layer.  The sentiment was also stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were stamped to complete the card ensemble.
