Last month I created a card using the Cheerful Daisies Dies where I was inspired by purple asters...
Today's card features the original rejects from that card!
You might wonder why they were rejects... the Gorgeous Grape blending ended up being a bit darker than I wished... and as you know with blending, you can't take the ink away... so I set them aside knowing they would work with something.
These darker asters worked divinely with the Wild Wheat cardstock... remnants of Wild Wheat and Basic White cardstock were adhered to a Basic White panel and embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed layer was adhered to a Gorgeous Grape layer and the 4-1/4" square card base. The triple layered Rustic Crate Dies sentiment was the perfect addition to the daisies while the finishing touch was the Wild Wheat 2023-2025 In Color™Dots in each of the three sizes (mimicking the sizes of the daisies). **swoon**
The inside was layered, embossed and stamped to compliment the card front. The So Sincere sentiment stamped with Wild Wheat ink was the perfect choice to share with any recipient. The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap was stamped to complete the card ensemble.
I hope this inspires you to use your project rejects as they will make their own beautiful cards!
