Fancy Flora Two-Step Stamping! |
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today has been a sunny wintry day before the thunderstorms come through this evening. I hope that you are enjoying your day wherever you may be in the world.
Today's Project
Today's project is a thank you card that I made for one of my customers this month for a wonderful suggestion in my new community group on Facebook! Our catalogs are always filled with lots of new things to see and inspire us to want to create even more than we do. I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.
Project Details
The focus of this card is on this lovely Fancy Flora Collection in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. The Fancy Flora 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper is so amazing that I will be using so much of it for sharing cards these next few months. I selected a sheet of it to create a tag using the Something Fancy Dies. The die-cut was embossed with the Painted Textures The Pool Party 3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon was threaded through the teardrop shaped hole (from the Something Fancy Dies) and secured with a doubled piece of Linen Thread that was tied off with a bow. The Two-Tone Flora multiple flowers which remind me of Forget Me Knots were stamped with Balmy Blue ink onto Basic White. The flower accents were stamped with Night of Navy ink. The large floral was off-stamped with Petal Pink ink. The floral details were stamped with Calypso Coral ink. The leaf branch was stamped with Soft Succulent ink. All of the Two-Tone Flora stamped images were die-cut with the coordinating Two-Tone Flora Dies.
The Something Special sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink and fussy cut. The flora arrangement and tag were adhered to a Basic White layer embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
The inside of the Thick Basic White cardbase was stamped to compliment the card front. The Basic White Medium Envelope flap was embossed to give my customers inspiration for decorating our amazing envelopes! There is nothing like completing the process of cardmaking with these special touches.
