Snow Crystal Gift Tags for the Season

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping with the New at SU! Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting!  Today we are sharing ideas for gift tags whether it's last minute for Christmas or just to have on hand for something special.

Today's project is all about Terrific Tags!  So it was time to play with this background stamp from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog that I am thrilled is a carryover stamp set!  

Creating this design for these tags was fun with the help of my Stamparatus.  Using this amazing tool allowed me to showcase the amazing details of this Snow Crystal Stamp Set.  

You will need your Stamparatus along with a sheet or two of Small Grid Paper, Shimmery White Cardstock, your Paper Trimmer, your Pool Party ink pad and the Tailor Made Tags Dies. 

The Shimmery White cardstock adds a special touch to stamped images with it's build in glimmer so it was only natural to select it for stamping and off-stamping this snowflake.

Place the stamp in the center of the Stamparatus and pick it up with the hinged plate.  Apply Pool Party ink on the stamp and lower the plate to stamp the image on the Small Grid Paper.  Lift the plate.  Center a piece of cut Shimmery White cardstock over the snowflake.  Lower the plate and press to create a stamped-off image of the snowflake.

Raise the plate and reink the snowflake.  Using the snowflake image on the Small Grid Paper as a guide, move the cardstock around to where you wish to stamp the next snowflake.  Repeat these steps until you create the background that you love.

Select the Tailor Made Tags Dies that you wish (I used the largest of each design) to use and die-cut your tags using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Select your favorite ribbons.  I chose the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon, Petal Pink 3/8" Soft Polyester Ribbon and the Gray Granite 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.  Keeping the ribbon on the spools, pull them out to twice the length of the tag, double it and then cut.  Attach the ribbon(s) thru the hole at the top of the tag die-cuts.

You can choose to stamp "to" and "from" on the backs using the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set; however, I usually leave the backs of my tags blank until I know the occasion I am using them.

It is so easy to create tags in bulk with this amazing stamp set and dies. 

I cannot wait to hear which occasions you would use these for as I am using them for Christmas, winter birthdays and a wedding gift!
