Snow Crystal meets Decorative Borders! |
Happy Thursday, y'all!
I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day as you are enjoying this holiday season!
Today I am hopping with the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop as we share inspiration from this month's Color Challenge!
There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water, or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!
Today's Project
I was inspired by the colors and the photo to create a seasonal thank you card.
With a Winter Storm Warning issued for today here in NW Ohio starting tonight, snow is on my mind along with the warmth and sunshine in southern coastal regions!
Four colors, three stamp sets, two sets of dies, one ink pad and a little fussy-cutting pulled this Christmas Thank You card together in no time!
Project Details
Using the Stamparatus, the Snow Crystal image was stamped with Night of Navy onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White cardstock.
The Snow Crystal layer was adhered to a Night of Navy layer and a Night of Navy card base.
The Decorative Borders vine was stamped with Night of Navy ink repeatedly on a piece of Basic White cardstock and die-cut with the second largest Stylish Shapes square die.
The leaves were colored with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers and adhered to a same size Night of Navy square die-cut.
The Decorative Borders single flower was stamped with Night of Navy ink repeatedly on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock.
The flower petals were colored with Real Red and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers, fussy-cut and adhered to the vines as shown.
Basic Rhinestone Jewels were added to the centers of the Real Red flowers representing precipitation in either weather scenario from the photo inspiration.
The sentiment was die-cut with the Amazing Thanks Dies.
The inside was stamped and layered to compliment the card front.
The Framed & Festive sentiment was stamped perfect for making this a Christmas thank you card though this amazing sentiment could be used for any time of the year.
The Basic White Medium Envelope was stamped on the front and flap to compliment the card front as a sneak peek to the recipient for what's inside.More Inspiration
I hope this project has inspired you and brightened your day.
There are some other amazing inspirations for you to see along this blog hop.
