Emboss Resist with the Decorative Borders Stamp Set! |
Hello and welcome to my blog!
Today I am hopping along with other members of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program.
I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator.
We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you cards.
Today's Project
Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders.
I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.
Project Details
Decorative Borders has quickly become a favorite stamp set of mine as I love creating stationery for letter writing and for tucking away into my cards.
Hinge stamping with the Stamparatus was the secret to the emboss resist strip of custom cardstock applied to the card front and the inside!
The border image was stamped with VersaMark ink onto Basic White cardstock and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
Once cool to the touch, Pool Party ink was applied over the embossing with a Blending Brush multiple times to achieve the desired effect.
The 1/2" wide emboss resist strip was adhered to a Pool Party layer embossed with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders.
The Amazing Thanks Dies were used for the die-cut sentiment.
Pool Party cardstock was used with the shadow die.
Basic White was originally used for the detailed die; however, a 2nd die-cut was made with Shimmery White cardstock as it was a better match with the emboss resist image.
The inside was layered to compliment the card front.
The Basic White Medium Envelope front was stamped with Pool Party ink while the flap was embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder.
