All Bundled Up Christmas Cards for this month's Cards with Angie Class! |
Hello friends!
I hope you are enjoying this last Sunday of November after an amazing celebration of Thanksgiving here in the States.
Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Share It Sunday Blog Hop as we share projects on our craft desks.
There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!
Today's Project
Last Monday I had the privilege of stamping with some local seniors.
This is always such a special time for me each month as these "young at heart" amaze me with what they create using my cards as samples.
Needless to say, with it being Thanksgiving week, the class materials are still waiting to be put away so I just had to share this amazing day with you!
Project Details
The class was ran like a card buffet where enough materials were available for the participants to create all the cards.
As I have quickly learned, these amazing "Young at Heart Stampers" usually make two cards each if time allows them before they exhaust themselves from their enthusiasm.
The All Bundled Up cards were the same design created in portrait and landscape.
The differences being the Merriest Moments sentiments, the critters and the Wintry embossed backgrounds.
The third card was created in two different color palettes so they could choose which color they preferred - Real Red and Garden Green or Night of Navy and Shaded Spruce!
The fun part with this one was seeing their faces when I told them they had to sing along with the card!
My favorite part of the class is seeing how they decide to create their cards!
It is also such a pleasure to get to know the class participants as there is always something new to learned each month!
We had a power outage during the latter part of the class so pictures in the Art Room were not taken.
Thankfully, my mom went around and got some amazing pictures for me!
