Ho Ho Ho October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit with Alternative

Today's Project

I just recently received this kit and couldn't wait to play with it!  It is by far one of my favorites for Christmas!  Isn't this just the sweetest stamp set? And the kit itself is amazing!

I made one of each of the kit cards and one alternative that was inspired by the kit!  So Ho Ho Ho fun!!!

Project Details

It was love at first sight when I first caught a glimpse of Santa in the sneak peeks last month!  Oh, and the fonts!  So it was only natural that the first alternative would feature this adorable image!  Using the colors from the kit, the image was stamped with Early Espresso ink and colored with Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Sweet Sorbet, Ivory and Color Lifter Stampin' Blends.

The "h" is from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink.  The Sweet Sorbet layer was embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  The Custom Artistry Paper strip was created with the light shades of the Cherry Cobbler, Sweet Sorbet and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends Markers.

The inside was layered to compliment the card front.  The non-SU envelope for this oversize square card was stamped on the flap to get the recipient in the mood for what's inside.
