Mischievous Mice with the Rectangle Postage Punch |
Happy Sunday! Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Share it Sunday Blog Hop and the theme is share a project, any project. There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!
Today's Project
Benji had a grooming appointment recently so I made a card for his groomer where I include my payment. Every now and then I include a special note from Benji, but this time, it was from a special friend who was actually glad to have a break from his barking at the kittens...
I can't help but smile every time I see this mouse! And Benji was so happy to be coming home!
Project Details
Five postage stamps and a few partial stamps were punched with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch from Basic White and aligned along the Mini Slim Line card base (5-1/2" square piece of Basic White Thick cardstock scored 2-3/4"). The Mischievous Mice mouse was stamped in Smoky Slate and colored with Light/Dark Smoky Slate, SU800 and Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers. The pencil was colored with SU800, Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Smoky Slate and Dark Flirty Flamingo. The sentiment was stamped with Smoky Slate ink and fussy cut.
The inside was stamped and punched to compliment the card front. I left the Basic White Medium Envelope blank so his groomer could use the card for herself to pass along.
It is so fun to fussy cut this mouse... and he can help you create a stash of cards that can be ready for any occasion. The possibilities are limitless... I look forward to seeing what you create with this amazing Host stamp set that is retiring soon!
More Inspiration
I hope you have been inspired to create a card to share with someone to make their day. Now it's time to continue along the blog hop - you're currently with me, Angie McKenzie, at #10 - to get more inspiration from the others... so look at the list below and continue along. You definitely don't want to miss any.
