Today's Project
There is nothing like walking through a department store and being inspired by the store displays to create something beautiful. The hubby recently sent me off to Dillard's Department Store to pick up something for him... well, I couldn't resist going through the home decor department to be swept away by inspiration for today's project. The pattern of a hanging apron caught my eye, but it was the neatly folded stack of same that inspired today's project.
Project Details
The Wildflower Path Photopolymer Stamp Set was used to create the watercolor background on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using ink and a water brush. The colors are Evening Evergreen, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade and Orchid Oasis (new 2022-2024 In Color). This amazing stamp set is a multiple step stamp allowing for quick stamping once you become familiar with the layering and coordinating images whether you create stalked wildflowers or random wildflower images.
The inside was stamped and layered to compliment the front. Decorating the top panel allows for an insert to be added to the inside for extensive correspondence to a dear friend or family member during National Card and Letter Writing Month (happening now)!
