A Wildly Adorable Easter card |
Happy Sunday! We have a SKETCH CHALLENGE during this month's Kre8tors Blog Hop! Many of us have been busy creating projects for our friends and loved ones during this month so I am sure you will get your creativity boosted from this talented bunch of Kre8tors. Relax and enjoy a cuppa while you gather some inspiration as you peruse along the hop!
Today's Project
Melissa created a simply fun sketch for us this month! I have Easter on my mind as I haven't made the first, yet, for this year... so I couldn't resist turning the sketch around 180 degrees!
Project Details
The backgrounds were embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder and the Stripes 3D Embossing Folder creating a landscape backdrop. The top edge of the embossed Pear Pizzazz layer was snipped multiple times to create a fringed, grassy edge. A piece of Vellum Cardstock was punched with the Cloud Punch.
The Wildly Adorable bunny was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. The bunny was colored with Stampin' Blends Markers using Light and Dark Daffodil Delight blended with Dark So Saffron (suit), Light Flirty Flamingo (paw pads and inside of the ears), Light Soft Suede (locks of hair), and Light Petal Pink blended with Ivory (face and hands).
The Rainbow of Happiness sentiment was partially stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a Basic White label cut from the All Dressed Up Dies. The Daffodil Daydream sentiment was stamped with Memento ink onto scraps of Basic White and fussy cut.
The bunny was fussy cut and adhered to the card front over the Vellum cloud with Stampin' Dimensionals. The left side of the stamped label was trimmed and tucked under the bunny with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The fussy cut sentiment was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
