Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Header | Monochrome Color Challenge February 2022

Happy Saturday and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop as we share Monochrome projects we have created.  We hope that we inspire you to create along with us.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

Wanting to use the amazing new Faux Sea Glass Shapes my monochrome range is green - also my favorite color!  It all started with wanting to use these five colors... Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, and Mint Macaron.

And this fun All Together 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper that I wanted to color with Stampin' Blends!

Just a little inspiration with lots of fun techniques, my card quickly came together for a special card for a friend.

Project Details

The strips of paper were weaved to create the center panel which was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.  The woven panel was adhered to Basic White layer embossed with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder.  The Mint Macaron card base was chosen to highlight all the colors.

The Medium Daisy Punch created the daisy which was fluffed and rounded with a bone folder.  The brush tip of the Light Sea Foam Stampin' Blends marker was used to lightly color the petals.  The Jade Faux Sea Glass Shapes were added for the center of the daisy.  The Biggest Wish sentiment was heat embossed and tucked behind the daisy.

The colored Designer Series Paper made the perfect envelope liner to compliment the woven panel.  No stamping on the envelope this time as the inside is worth waiting for, don't you think?

The macrame panel was cut to size prior to embossing so it expanded enough that I was able to trim off a section to add to the inside panel for writing a special note to my friend.  With National Send a Card to a Friend Day coming up on Monday, this card along with several others will be posted in the mail on Monday along with several other cards.  Will you be busy creating something special, too?!?  I sure hope so!
