Calming Camellia Special Moments CAS Multiples |
Happy Saturday and welcome to my blog! Today I am hopping along the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop as we showcase projects we are working on to inspire you to create along with us. There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!
Today's Project
Calming Camellia is by far my most loved Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set for 2022. The Distinktive™ images are so elegant and the fonts for the sentiments are amazing. Earlier this week I shared my customer cards using color blocking with the camellia image. Today I am showcasing the leaf image using the same colors with two additional color combinations while keeping the cards CAS - Clean and Simple.
Project Details
I fell in love with the Stampin' Up! color families years ago and started with tone-on-tone stamping with VersaMark until I invested in all of the ink colors as a beginner stamper almost 15 years ago. Creating this stamping technique with a complimentary or darker hue gives the technique a timeless classic feel reminding me of fabric.
The color combinations for the cardfronts are:
The Tasteful Labels Dies were used to die-cut the sentiment labels with cardstocks identical to the ink. The Special Moments Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set was used for the sentiments. The stamped layers were wrapped with Linen Thread and coordinating Baker's Twine (Gray Granite and Crumb Cake). The sentiment labels were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I have had a hard time deciding which is my favorite color combination... I love them all! Do you have a favorite?
