Nuts About Squirrels for your someone special! |
Hello friends! I hope you are doing amazing on this thankful Thursday. Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop as we share lots of inspiration related to kids and babies. There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!
Today's Project
There's nothing like creating something for the little ones or the big kids in our lives! Today's project is an idea to tuck away in a backpack or lunchbox for a school day... or even your hubby's suitcase, wallet, office paperwork, etc., afterall, he's your biggest kid, right?!? **WINK**
How many times have you wished you have done something like this to make their day special when they're having rough day away from you?
Project Details
The Note Cards and Envelopes are always a basic that I keep on hand especially for these special kinds of notes whether it's for a friend, my son or my hubby. You just never know when a special surprise like this will bring a lift to their day!
A simple Basic White Cardstock layer was used for the stamping and the special note (which can be adhered inside or just tucked inside... depending on how embarrassed your recipient may be!). The squirrels were stamped with Soft Suede ink and colored with Light Soft Suede and Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers. The acorn was colored with Bronze and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers. The leaves were off-stamped with Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Soft Suede inks while the detail image was stamped in the same colors. The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink.
This is definitely a sweet stamp set that can be used for so many occasions for all the squirrel lovers in your life!

I hope you have been inspired to create a fun card to share with your child or grandchild for their school day. Now it's time to continue along the blog hop - you're currently with me, Angie McKenzie, at #17 - to get more inspiration from the others... so look at the list below and continue along. You definitely don't want to miss any.
