Knit Together, Nature's Harvest, and Encircled in Warmth with soft ribbons! 

 

Happy Thursday, y'all!  Hello and welcome to the Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop!  You are either starting here or coming from the blog of my friend, Danielle.  This month we are sharing inspiration using our favorite products from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog!  These products highlight the changing of the seasons from fall to winter, along with the holidays during these seasons!  

Today's Project

I had a very hard time choosing my favorite product from this seasonal mini catalog... as I have quiet a few!  Nature's Harvest, Knit Together and Encircled in Warmth are some products that I am enjoying at the moment with the cooler weather that has snuck in here in NW Ohio!  

Project Details

Using the Stamparatus, the small floral Nature's Harvest image was stamped with Crumb Cake ink onto a square piece of Basic White cardstock.  The square was rotated three times at a 90 degree angle, inking the stamp each time.  Then the square was lined up at the 45 degree angle and stamped.  The square was rotated 90 degrees three more times to complete the circle of cone flowers.  The images were colored with Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers.  The Encircled with Friendship sentiment was stamped with Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and die-cut with the coordinating die from Encircled with Beauty Dies.

The Knit Together background stamp had previously been used with Cajun Craze ink... and I apparently neglected to clean it afterwards as the Crumb Cake ink was a bit darker than anticipated though it toned  nicely with the colors.  The Flirty Flamingo 1/4" Metallic Ribbon was cut in half down the middle and double tied together creating a soft bow which was adhered to the stamped layer with Mini Glue Dots.  The Basic White cardstock layer was adhered to same size pieces of Soft Suede and Flirty Flamingo cardstocks.  The layers were adhered to Basic White Thick card base.

The inside was stamped and layered to compliment the card front.  The envelope front and flap were stamped with a complimentary Pretty Pumpkin sentiment along with the Painted Harvest floral image.

The second project is a cheerful Christmas card!  The Knit Together image was cleaned well and stamped with Coastal Cabana ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock.  The Encircled with Warmth sentiment was stamped with VersaMark onto a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock, heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and die-cut with the coordinating Encircled with Beauty Dies.  

The snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes Dies were die-cut from Basic White cardstock with half of them being stamped in Blushing Bride ink with the Gorgeous Leaves large splattered image.  My favorite part of this fun card was creating the small pom-pom bow with the Blushing Bride 3/8" Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon (currently on backorder).  Just the feel of this little pom-pom warmed my heart!

The inside was stamped to compliment the warmth of the front using the same Gorgeous Leaves image stamped in Blushing Bride ink and the Wrapped in Warmth sentiment stamped in Coastal Cabana with areas filled in the Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker.  The snowflake was stamped to compliment the sentiment.  The envelope front and flap were stamped using the snowflake negatives as a stencil for stamping and blending.
