Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along with other members of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training  Program.  I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator that I had to participate in it once again as there is always something to learn.  We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you cards.  

Today's Project

Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders.  New catalogs are always such exciting times with lots of new things to see and inspire us to want to create even more than we do.  I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.

Project Details

A Basic White Cardstock Layer was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and inked with a Blending Brush and Misty Moonlight ink.  Stitched Rectangles were used to die-cut three rectangles from the embossed layer.  A Misty Moonlight Cardstock layer was embossed with the TImber 3D Embossing Folder and scored at the 1" mark on the left and right sides of the embossed layer to create the feel of a boardwalk along the beach.  TIP:  I used the scoring blade on the Paper Trimmer and ran it back and forth approximately 12 times to get a deep groove. 

The seashells and sand dollar were stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White cardstock and fussy cut.  The rectangles and fussy cut images were adhered to the boardwalk layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   Baker's Twine was wrapped around the layer and tied off with a bow.  The Shaded Summer sentiment was stamped in VersaMark ink on a scrap piece of Misty Moonlight Cardstock, heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and die-cut with a Stitched Rectangle die.  The sentiment die-cut was adhered to the adhered layers with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The card front layers were adhered to the Misty Moonlight card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The layers were replicated (including the embossing and scoring on the Misty Moonlight layer) with complimentary stamping on the inside to complete the card.  The envelope front and flap were also stamped to compliment the card giving the recipient a sneak peek of what's inside.
