Delicate Dahlias with Feels Like Home (Sale-a-Bration Stamp Sets)

Happy Thursday, y'all!  Hello and welcome to the Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop!  You are either starting here or coming from the blog of my friend, Danielle.  This month we are sharing inspiration using our favorite Sale-a-Bration products!  These latest products that are available to earn with purchases of $50 or more are just beautiful and oh, so fun in so many different ways!  

Today's Project

I had a very hard time choosing my favorite Sale-a-Bration product... so I chose two!  Delicate Dahlias  and Feels Like Home are my hands-down favorites though I must say that all of the product offerings that can be earned for FREE with qualifying orders are rather amazing during this second Sale-a-Bration this year.  Are you surprised with my choices?  If you know me well, you shouldn't be as I love flowers and bicycles! **WINK**

Project Details

Delicate Dahlias is a distinktive stamp set so the detailing is breathtaking.  The best images are made with ink pads that are "fresh" or heavily inked.  The images look so realistic!  To stamp multiples with the dahlias (which I did), the Stamparatus is your friend and a must have.  Lining up the stamp is rather handy with the ease of using plates.  And using the Stamparatus for stamping the Feels Like Home scene is also highly recommended.  

Stamp the two-step dahlias with Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron inks (being sure to clean the stamps well with a damp shammy before switching colors) onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and fussy-cut.  Stamp the two-step three petal leaf with Pear Pizzazz ink and fussy-cut.  Arrange the fussy-cut images and adhere together with liquid glue and glue dots.

Stamp the large Feels Like Home image onto the small grid paper of the Stamparatus.  Place a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock over the image eyeballing the placement.  Tear a piece of paper and place according to your framing preference.  Stamp the image with Crumb Cake ink and lower the plate pressing specifically in the area between the torn pieces of paper.  Remove the papers.  Stamp the sentiment with Crumb Cake ink and randomly stamp and off-stamp around the stamped image.  

Wrap Linen Thread around the stamped layer twice tying off with a bow.  Adhere the dahlias with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adhere to a Pear Pizzazz Cardstock layer.  Adhere all to a Very Vanilla Thick card base.   Stamp your sentiment in Pear Pizzazz ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock scraps and fussy cut into strips.

To complete the card, replicate the layers and stamping to coordinate with the card front.  Stamp the envelope front and the envelope flap to provide a sneak peek of what's inside for the recipient.
