Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am hopping along with other members of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program. I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator that I had to participate in it once again as there is always something to learn. We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you cards.
Today's Project
Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders. New catalogs are always such exciting times with lots of new things to see and inspire us to want to create even more than we do. I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.
Project Details
I have been enjoying creating Night of Navy and Basic White cards lately (click here if you wish to view the others). They are so classic to me... and they let the beauty of the stamp set(s) and other elements shine.
The classic Feels Like Home scene was stamped on a quarter piece of Basic White cardstock that easily could have been trimmed down to fit on the Night of Navy card base. I chose to create a torn edge along the perimeter of the design and adhere it to the Timeworn Type embossed layer. The heat embossed Heartfelt Wishes sentiment on a strip of Night of Navy running across the lower half of the card. White Baker's Twine which was wrapped around the Basic White layer twice and tied off with a bow was the finishing touch before the embossed layers were adhered to the card base.
No card is complete without the inside being stamped to compliment the card front. The left side was embossed to compliment the front while the sentiments were stamped in Night of Navy ink across the bottom. And of course, we must also decorate the envelope - front and back flap - keeping in mind, of course, the guidelines of your local postal service should you be sending your card through the mail. Hand-delivered cards would have fewer restrictions to consider during this creative process.
You can earn the Feels Like Home Stamp Set for FREE during Sale-a-bration (now through September 30, 2021) when you purchase $50 or more of products from my online store if you do not have a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. Blog hops can be great inspiration sources - especially when there are several of us hopping along as we each have a different ideas and flair of stamping! If you enjoy my style, I would love for you to follow my blog as I am always posting tips for techniques as I learn along the way.
