Today's Project
When I first saw the Sending Hugs Bundle on page 19 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, I knew I had to have it; however, it was going to be one of those items that I was going to get later in the year. But then when Tania told me that the bundle made her think of me, well... it wasn't long until it was in my craft room.
Those who know me through text messages and social media know that I am a virtual hugger sending (((HUGS))) across the communication waves... and those that know me in person, know that I am also indeed a big hugger. I will be using this amazing bundle a lot that's for sure! And guess what?!? It has a floral design which includes tulips so it is perfect for this month's floral theme. *SWOON**
Project Details
There is nothing like a classic design using Navy and White, right? That is what I have chosen to do for this month's floral theme. Using the blue toned Stampin' Blends to color the largest image stamped in Night of Navy onto Basic White Cardstock. The card was designed as a horizontal layout with what I call stair step layers.
The second card focuses primarily on the coordinating Layering Hugs Dies along with a Basic Border Die. Inspired by some of my favorite summer time v-neck striped sweaters, the pointed border die was used to die-cut Basic White and Night of Navy cardstock. Layering the die-cuts on a Basic White cardstock layer allowed for the creation of the white stripe. The Flowers of Friendship sentiment was stamped in VersaMark onto a 3/4" strip of Night of Navy cardstock and heat embossed. The sentiment panel was triple layered to add additional layering to the cardfront.

More Inspiration
I hope that you have enjoyed this inspiration using the Sending Hugs Bundle so you can create your own hugs to send to others through the mail. Now, let's pop over for some more inspiration with my friend, Tania across the waters! She's on the 2021 Artisan Design Team and has a wonderful technique to share with you using another one of my favorite new bundles - Hand-Penned Petals... you'll love it, I'm sure.
I think I need to get this set too. Some great cards made with it, Angie!
