Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am hopping along with other members of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program. I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator that I had to participate in it once again as there is always something to learn. We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you cards.
Today's Project
Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders. New catalogs are always such exciting times with lots of new things to see and inspire us to want to create even more than we do. I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.
Project Details
This month I am sharing with my customers that sometimes you can just let the dies with a little watercoloring and, of course, some twine do all the talking. The Meadow Dies were a must for me along with the Scalloped Contours Dies. And the little "love" on the tag is from the coordinating Quiet Meadows Cling Stamp Set.
The 1" strip of vellum was colored with Stampin' Blends (random color patches) and spritzed with rubbing alcohol to create the lovely watercolor pattern. Once it was completely dried, it was wrapped around the Basic White cardstock layer and adhered to the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive. The wildflowers were diecut from Basic White Thick cardstock while the vellum was drying. The front wildflower was watercolored with the Fine Tip Water Painter with Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. The wildflowers were arranged behind the Scalloped Contours Dies 2nd smallest die.
After watercoloring, the front wildflower was double layered with additional die cuts to make it appear more realistic on the cardfront. The heat embossed tags were wrapped around the stem with "love".
The Hand-Penned Petals sentiment was stamped in Sahara Sand ink onto the Meadow label die cut which was wrapped around and through the slots on the larger die cut label with baker's twine. The labels were adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The layers were replicated for the inside as no card is complete with an area to write to the recipient. And before putting the sentiment stamp away, the front of the envelope and the envelope flap were also stamped.
