Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - April 2021 | Pretty Perennials Birthday

 

Hey y'all!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.  

This month we are sharing things related to our Birthday theme!  There are so many ways to celebrate you and others...   I have chosen to focus on a family birthday!

Today's Project

Today is a very special day... it's the 18th birthday of the beautiful young lady who first made me an auntie!!!  I am blessed to have two lovely nieces and today I am celebrating Maddie.  Happy 18th birthday, sweetie!

Project Details

The slim line Daffodil Delight cardbase was stamped and off-stamped with Daffodil Delight ink using the largest blossom in the Pretty Perennials Photopolymer Stamp Set.  The 2-1/4" x 11" Basic White card layer was stamped with images from the same stamp set with Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay, and Granny Apple Green.  The sentiments were inked with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto scraps of Basic White and fussy cut.  The special number using the Playful Alphabet Dies was die cut three times for layering.  The stamped layer was adhered to a 2-3/8" x 11" Magenta Madness cardstock layer.  The Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was wrapped about both layers like a package and tied off with a bow.

For the inside, the layers were replicated along with coordinating stamped images.  The Happy Thoughts sentiment was perfect for this special day worth celebrating!  

And we cannot forget about the envelope especially since it was a standard #10 envelope... stamping on the envelope front and the flap added a special touch.  And trimming a piece of the True Love DSP and coloring it with coordinating Stampin' Blends (Stampin' Write Markers would also work!) will make it even more special for her when she opens the envelope.
