Enjoy the Moment for Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop | March 2021 - Gratitude

Happy Thursday, y'all!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop as we share gratitude projects!  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water, or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

This month's theme is perfect timing for the Aussies who are pulling together to help each other out during these challenging times especially those in New South Wales who are experiencing flooding.  I have family and friends in this region that I am still reaching out to so please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.   Today's project was created with these special people in mind.

Project Details

Pretty Peacock will be deeply missed... my favorite 2019-2021 In Color.  The natural colors of the images from Enjoy the Moment that I have been admiring along the bike trail since fall was talking to me as a color scheme thus Crumb Cake.... while the fresh beginnings of the falling helicopter seeds from  Sycamore trees on windy Spring days would be the delicate Soft Sea Foam.

The poppy seed pod is the featured stand alone for the card front panel.  The Country Home sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Crumb Cake and fussy cut.  Linen thread was wrapped around the layer and tied off with a bow prior to adhering the sentiment.  The Crumb Cake layer was adhered to the cardbase with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The layers were repeated for the inside with a simply stamped layer allowing for room for correspondence to the recipient.  The Basic White envelope with stamped on the front and the flap to compliment the cardfront.

With the simplicity of the layout, a second card was created.  A Crumb Cake cardbase with Pretty Peacock and Very Vanilla.  The Sweet Ice Cream sentiment was simply stamped in Pretty Peacock onto the Very Vanilla cardstock layer.  The Pretty Peacock cardstock layer was simply layered onto the cardbase.

The inside layers were simply repeated again leaving a blank canvas for correspondence.  The envelope front and flap were stamped to compliment the card front.

• Very Vanilla Medium Envelope 
• Basic White Medium Envelope
