NEW YEAR, NEW LOOK!
Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! Started by the lovely Jessie Holton of Australia in 2017, Stefanie Pletscher from Canada has been kind enough to continue this amazing blog hop. We are so excited to be able to continue sharing our creativity with you. Starting next month you can count on seeing us on the second Thursday of each month.
Today's Projects
Today's project is using something NEW and it is full of encouragement! Something that we definitely need right now here in the US. It's the middle of winter and we're enjoying the sunshine today. The new Floating & Fluttering Bundle was the first bundle that I had to have when I made my preorder last year! I love making floating frame cards and this bundle was specifically designed to help create them so easily. I will be sharing several floating cards with you later. Today, I am focusing on encouragement cards to create quickly for some very special people in my life that need some cheer... and I am sure that you can think of some people in your life as well.
Project Details
The main stamp is a rather large cluster stamp that makes stamping easy. Cut your Basic White cardstock to 4" x 5-1/4" and stamp away with the Memento ink. Have fun creating your background as no two will be alike unless you choose to use your Stamparatus (which I didn't). You can color the images with markers, ink or pencils. I chose to use the filler stamps as it is quick and easy to fill the images once you select your color palette. Adding layers of Basic Black cardstock helps to make the images pop against the bright colored vertical top-folding card bases. The white heat embossed sentiment is the perfect encouragement to let these special people in my life know that they are not alone.
And the inside is just as important as the card front... these little details of complimenting the card fronts are the perfect finishing touch to any handmade card. As well as the envelopes, too!
