I hope you enjoy my project on this day of Thanksgiving here in the USA as we share things that are All About Bling!
Thanksgiving for me is watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (full of bling!!!) as I prepare food for our family afternoon feast. This year will be different as my family of three will be in touch with loved ones via phone and/or FaceTime. We will count our blessings together while we celebrate in our different homes virtually. Over the weekend, it will be time to bring out the Christmas decorations as we begin celebrating the season of giving! Today's project is a special treat for those of you that need some inspiration filled with bling to share during this season.
Die cut the globe with Whisper White cardstock. Die cut the medium bough with Pool Party, Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz cardstocks. Punch a 2-1/4" circle from Whisper White cardstock. Emboss a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Whisper White cardstock layer with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Die cut the script sentiment from the center of a 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" Gold Foil layer. Adhere the boughs with Mini Glue Dots. Wrap a piece of Vanilla Open-Weave Ribbon around the Gold Hoop and adhere to the back of the embossed layer with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Secure the Hoop to the circle with Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the world to the circle with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the circle to the embossed layer with glue dots. Adhere the layers to the Pool Party vertical top folding card base with liquid glue. Stamp the sentiment in Pool Party ink onto a scrap strip of Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut. Adhere the foil sentiment with liquid glue and the stamped sentiment with Foam Adhesive Strips. Apply the Blue Adhesive -Backed Gems for some additional bling!
