The minute I saw this sketch over at CAS(e) This Sketch, I knew exactly what I was going to create! This time of year is all above the falling of the beautiful leaves as they make their final dance to cover the ground. The die from Stitched Leaves has been calling me to be used along with the Autumn Punch Pack which coordinates with the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set. The leaves outlines were stamped in Crumb Cake onto a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock. The leaves fillers were stamped in So Saffron and randomly sponged with a previously inked Calypso Coral sponge dauber. The leaves were punched and adhered with liquid glue onto the die embossed Very Vanilla card layer. The sentiment was stamped in Crumb Cake. A single thread pulled from a piece of Linen Thread and adhered to the back of the layer with Tear & Tape Adhesive was the finishing touch for this Autumn themed card.
The Guilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper makes the perfect liner for an envelope to compliment this card created to share with friend.
I hope that you have been inspired by my CAS (Clean and Simple) entry for CTS394 and possibly even smiled as you pictured the leaves dancing.
Thank you for looking and have a blessed day!
YOU CAN MAKE THIS PROJECT, TOO!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, this was such an honor.
DeleteAngie, congratulations on your well-deserved CTS win this week! I adore the creamy white, with your Autumn leaves - and that bit of debossing sends it right over the top to indicate those leaves falling gracefully! Well done!
