Welcome to the Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop! You are either starting here or coming from Tania's blog. We hope that you are enjoying these special monthly posts as much as we enjoy sharing this time with you! This month we are focusing on products we pre-ordered from the upcoming August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
The new mini catalog is full of some amazing new products to play with that are holiday themed for the upcoming months! Today I am sharing with you my favorite preorder stamp set along with a BONUS card at the end highlighting an amazing stamp set that is actually seasonal and it is great for year round!
For today's cards, the detailed poinsettia was off stamped in Crumb Cake onto a full size sheet of Shimmery White cardstock along both centers of the page. The stamp was randomly turned to create a pleasing to the eye pattern. The poinsettias were colored with Light Flirty Flamingo to create shading of the leaves. The centers were colored with Light Granny Apple Green and Light Mossy Meadow. The sentiment was stamped in Crumb Cake.
The cardstock was cut straight down both center points to create four equal card front layers. The layers were individually trimmed to 3-3/4" x 5". The Garden Green layers were cut to be slightly larger. The Crumb Cake card bases were stamped with Crumb Cake on the front and the inside for added interest. Linen Thread was wrapped twice around the two card front layers and tied off with a bow. Pearls were added as a special touch.
The background is stamped and off stamped in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana onto Shimmery White cardstock. The Ridiculously Awesome sentiments are covered with washi tape to omit the portions that are not used then stamped in VersaMark. Remove the washi tape and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. **NOTE: Each sentiment was stamped and embossed separately!!! Apply Coastal Cabana around the sentiment using a blending brush (or sponge or sponge dauber) and blend outwards. Apply Balmy Blue around the edge of card and blend with the Coastal Cabana. Adhere to a Balmy Blue top folding horizontal cardbase with liquid glue.
I hope that this has inspired you to want to add these two amazing stamp sets to your order from the Mini Catalog next month! Now, let's pop over for some more inspiration across the waters with Tania (click here)! She has something that you will want to be sure to get also, I'm sure.
The Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set has been my favorite stamp set from my preorder for the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog! The detailed bloom of the poinsettia is so detailed and gorgeous to use by itself or to color. It also makes it easy to create multiple cards rather quickly... I am actually ahead with making Christmas cards for the season thanks to this amazing stamp set! And I have only used one of the poinsettia stamps thus far. This stamp set is part of the Poinsettia Place Suite (pp. 14-16) which is gorgeous!!! Everything about it is amazing and there are so many possibilities for creating traditional Christmas cards and thank you cards - yes, I said thank you cards! So yes, you, too, will want to add this stamp set/bundle/suite to your wish list soon.

The inside and envelope are also just as important as the card fronts, so be sure to stamp them before you put everything away.
I mentioned earlier that I had a bonus card for today's blog post. This card features TWO amazing stamp sets!!! The first set is the new Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp set inspired by Million Sales Achiever LeeAnn Greff which is a recommended must have for your wish lists from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog (p. 51). The second set is the Ridiculously Awesome cling stamp set from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog (p. 90) which is inspired by Million Sales Achiever Rhonda Wade.
