Hello and thanks for joining us for Kylie’s Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Support Program Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that have joined us today for this blog hop full of ideas and creative inspiration. We are part of a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world participating in a training program that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business while reaching for our individual goals. We greatly appreciate your support.
You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.
I love to create 2-in-1 projects! What's that you might ask? Creating two separate cards from the positive and negative of a die cut. This is definitely a cost-saver (as in great use of my cardstock) and a design challenge. Today's card uses the negative from an exclusive project.
Creating this custom background was so fun! Start with a 5"x5" piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the trio petal stamp from Parcels & Petals in Versamark randomly across the piece. Heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Select your colors and using a blending tool of your choice (I used a blender brush, but sponge daubers, stamping sponges or sponge brayers would work nicely, too) to apply the colors over the entire layer. Pick a die and run it through your die cutting machine with the emboss resist layer.
With all the wonderful events (especially birthday celebrations, weddings, anniversaries, etc.) that are being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, I thought that creating a Save the Date insert with So Inviting for this card would be perfect way to digitally or snail mail share any celebration that will be celebrated once the stay home orders are lifted.
I hope that today's project has inspired to think of ways to create and share with others as we stay connected with each other during these days of lockdowns as we stay home to stay healthy.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and being a part of this hop with us! There is such an amazing line up of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world, and I know you're going to enjoy all the incredible projects you are going to see on this blog hop.
