Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop - March 2020 - Easter

I hope you enjoy my project on this Spring day here in the USA as we share things that are Easter themed and/or Seasonal! 

Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner so today's card focuses on both!  The Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper which is one of the Sale-A-Bration 2nd Release Products is absolutely gorgeous so I just had to use it for this card.  This paper is perfect for fussy cutting, coloring and ink blending... making its creative possibilities endless. 

Ink Blend the silver foiled flower petal background with So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink to create a soft pile of petals... or a glorious sunrise.  Several blending tools can be used like sponges, sponge daubers, brayers, felt pads, or blending brushes.  Heat emboss the Easter Promise sentiment with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder on Vellum to compliment the softness of the ink blended layer.

Fussy cut the magnolia bloom four times and layer with Mini Glue Dots and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to fluff.  Use Stampin' Blends Markers for coloring the leaves (Mossy Meadow combo), carpel (Light Daffodil Delight, Light Crumb Cake) and buds (Dark Petal Pink).

Add a touch of Silver Foil, Rose Metallic Thread and Champagne Rhinestones to compliment the Petal Pink card base and Mossy Meadow cardstock panel.

For the inside, be sure to compliment the card front.  Heat emboss the cross with silver powder onto a Whisper White layer.  Color the leaves with the Light Mossy Meadow Blends Marker.  Adhere an ink blended piece of the SDSP with liquid glue.  Heat emboss the sentiment with silver powder on Vellum, die cut with a Painted Labels Die and adhere with mini glue dots.
