Relax and enjoy a cuppa while you gather some inspiration as you peruse along the hop!
Inspired by the colors of the Parisian Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper, I decided to create my own custom DSP with the Forever Blossoms stamp set for today's card.
These beautiful cherry blossoms remind me of the rows and rows of the blossoming cherry trees along the streets of Washington, DC, in April every spring. It is always such a lovely time of year along the Potomac River and National Mall. Definitely something to see if you have never been blessed to see it. As my hubby worked around the area during our dating days, these blossoms have always held sentimental memories for me... yes, this is why I love this incredible stamp set and the love meaning behind this incredible Suite of products.
Can't you just imagine looking up a cherry tree and seeing these beautiful blossoms against the clear blue sky? Well, I could and hopefully you can now with the help of this custom background.
The vertical top folding card base was created from a piece of 4-1/4" x 11" Whisper White thick cardstock, scoring it at 5-1/2" and then folding and burnishing it with a bone folder. Emboss the 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White layer with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. Wrap the Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic Edged Ribbon around the custom stamped and colored layer as shown. Stamp the Meant to Be sentiment unto the Nested Stitched Labels Dies cut with Sahara Sand and adhere behind the bow with a Mini Glue Dot. Adhere the card front layers as shown with liquid glue.
The inside is just as important as the card front! Emboss the inside layer along all four edges to compliment the card front. Stamp the sentiment and leaf in Sahara Sand. Add color to the leaf with the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker, if desired. And don't forget to stamp the front and back flap of the envelope to further surprise the recipient.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope that you have been inspired to get yourself busy making some cards for those most dear to you with some of these incredible products in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and the 2019-20 Annual Catalog.
