Breathtaking Bouquet is the perfect stamp for coloring with any medium of your choice. Watercoloring with Aqua Painters was what I chose for my first attempt with coloring the entire image. Heat embossing the image onto Shimmery White created a lovely backdrop to the varied application of color and water that was so relaxing to do.
I had originally intended to use the entire image for this challenge, but had trouble deciding which color to choose for the card base... be sure to pop by later this week to see what I created from the bottom two-thirds of the image!
Focusing on the top one-third of the image, helped me rein in my creative mojo after my original idea for the card was not working. The Mossy Meadow card base was topped with a Mossy Meadow Subtle embossed layer that was ran through the embossing machine twice in two different directions creating a linen texture. The trimmed watercolor layer was adhered to a Shimmery White layer which was adhered to a Pear Pizzazz layer. The Positive Thoughts sentiment was heat embossed onto Vellum Cardstock and embossed and cut with Painted Labels Dies. Mini Glue Dots strategically placed behind certain letters adhered the label to the card front. Linen Thread tied off in a bow was wrapped around the layers triple time. The wrapped layers were adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Pearls were added as a finishing touch.
Watercoloring was continued for the inside and envelope!
I hope that today's project has inspired you to participate in The Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge, #JOSTTT014. Please be sure to pop over to receive more inspiration from the other design team members and I look forward to seeing your entry (entries) on the blog!
Have a blessed day!
