#JOSTTT013 Design Team Inspirations - January 2020

Happy New Year!!!  Welcome to our first challenge for 2020 over at The Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We are also celebrating our one year anniversary for the challenge.  Time flies when you're having fun, right?!?   The Design Team are all members of The Joy of Sets Facebook Group that is full of stampers sharing cards created with current and retired Stampin' Up!® stamp sets as well as stamp sets from other companies.

For this month's challenge designed by Libby Fens, you can select any three of the design elements in a row on the board going in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction.  I have chosen Lace, Hearts, Punch.  But it could also be Red, Hearts, Ribbon or Punch, Ribbon, Pink or Pearls, Hearts, Pink!!!

Lots of texture is happening in this fun-filled card!  The Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, the generational stamping, the scalloped punch heart, the embossed words on the background layer and the focal heart!  This makes my heart swoon... how about yours?!?

The generational stamping was so fun to do and it complimented the punched hearts
along with the vertical top folding cardbase.
 The soft Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was wrapped around the stamped layer
and tied off at a diagonal to follow the pattern of the hearts.
The double layer was adhered to fun foam that was edged with
the coordinating Blends Marker for smooth mailing.

The layers and stamping were repeated on the inside leaving
room to write to the recipient.
And, of course, stamping was added to the envelope!

Pearls were added as an after thought right after I zoomed in for the first picture!  Nothing like spotting a teeny tiny red ink spot in the middle of the white space that no one but me would notice; however, the pearls seemed to be the perfect compliment to the tulle ribbon.
