Happy New Year to you and thanks for visiting the January 2020 edition of the Third Thursdays Blog Hop! I cannot believe that January is already half over and love month is just around the corner! Time sure does fly! There are so many ways for us to express our love for one another. So today's blog hop is just perfect for what I need a stash of! So sit back and enjoy the inspirations on today's blog hop for those of us who love to show our love in so many different ways through Sweet Treats!!!
I found some hand lotion for a friend yesterday and needed a card to go with the gift! The Pocket Dies along with the Heartfelt Bundle was the perfect match for what I needed to go with the new Sale-A-Bration Golden Honey Specialty DSP!
Do you see where my inspiration has come from?!? Had I done the card vertically, the gift note that I'm also giving my friend would have fit in the front pocket, now it will just be tucked inside. **smile**
The pocket was repeated for the inside to hold the gift note which is the size of a standard credit card (so you could also include a gift card and/or business card in the pocket). The Seriously the Best leaves were stamped in Daffodil Delight. Likewise the Heartfelt sentiment. The pullout note card sentiment was stamped in Real Red and fussy cut. The Detailed Trio Punch came in handy for attaching the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Seriously the Best was used for the inside embossed sentiment. The Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker was perfect as a touch of honey on the honeycomb heart.
The From My Heart Faceted Gems added a sparkly finishing touch to the front, don't you think? Or should I have used my favorite pearls instead? I would love to hear your thoughts!
I hope that my project has inspired you in some way today. Please continue along the blog hop for additional inspiration. The fun-lovin' Andrea Tracy-Tucker is up next!
