ANYTHING CHRISTMAS is what you will see during this month's Kre8tors Blog Hop! Many of us have been busy creating projects for our friends and loved ones during this wonderful time of year so I am sure you will get your creativity boosted from this talented bunch of Kre8tors. Relax and enjoy a cuppa while you gather some inspiration as you peruse along the hop!
Junk mail, junk mail, junk mail, catalog, magazine, catalog full of inspiration! How many times do you flip through a catalog that you've received in the mail and found inspiration? I usually have a small stack of catalogs flipped to the inspirational page on my craft desk... so today's inspiration comes from Bed, Bath and Beyond!
The cozy feel of these seasonal pillows filled me with inspiration! The red toile pillow just called my name, but so did the black and white checks. And then I was like "WOW!" over the big red Buffalo Check pillow. Then I started creating today's card!
Create the 5-1/2" square card base from a piece of 5-1/2" x 11" Real Red cardstock, scoring it at 5-1/2" and then folding and burnishing it with a bone folder. Emboss the 5-1/4" Read Red square layer with the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder. Arrange the embossed die cut squares using the stamped die cuts as guides and piece together with Tear & Tape Adhesive on the reverse sides before adhering with liquid glue onto the cardfront layers.
Adhere the branch layers together lightly with liquid glue. Use the bone folder to slightly curve the sentiment banner. Adhere to the card front with liquid glue. Be sure to add a Stampin' Dimensional or two under the banner if mailing.
The inside is just as important as the card front! The layers were replicated with the remaining die cut squares creating a border along the side. Align the Toile Christmas sentiment and swirl and stamp in Real Red.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope that you have been inspired to get yourself busy making some seasonal cards with these incredible Holiday Favorite products that will stay around for another year (if not longer **fingers crossed**)!!!
