Wonderful Holly for International Highlights

There's nothing like being able to send someone a smile in the mail!  A special card letting someone know how grateful you are for the things they do  will surely their spirits.  Today's card is one of several entries in Kylie's International Blog Highlights for November 2019 so please share your love of this card by casting your vote for me!

Praiseworthy Prose is an amazing bundle in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog that is often overlooked.  Today's card features the stamp set front and center!

Inspired by my kitchen table napkins, the Buffalo Check stamp set creates a nice textured backdrop for the Very Vanilla Stitched Nested Labels Dies sentiment panel that was stamped with the Praiseworthy Prose sentiment in Crumb Cake.  The check was stamped in Crumb Cake and embossed with the Subtles embossing folder twice in opposite directions to create the feel of actual linen fabric.  The torn edges added a rustic, natural feel.  The holly from Christmas Gleaming were stamped in Celestial Copper Delicata Ink onto Very Vanilla and fussy cut after being colored with Mossy Meadow and Bronze Stampin' Blends Markers.  The vellum pine springs are from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.   Linen Thread was wrapped around the check layer twice and tied off with a bow before the layer was adhered at a jaunty angle to the card front with liquid glue.  The label panel was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals over the linen thread.  The greenery was adhered with liquid glue and dimensionals.

The inside is just as important as the front so the fussy cutting was continued into the inside making way for a special Rooted in Nature message for the recipient.
