Today's a start of another school year for my boy so I am thankful for all the new teachers that will be touching his life this year! Nothing like the start of a new school year to give this SAHM some additional creative/blogging time. :) So for this Thankful Thursday, I am sharing a clean and simple card that I made with some leftovers from a previous project!
The faux oxide backgrounds prepared in both Garden Green and Melon Mambo had enough remains to create the banner and the flower! The two detailed vellum diecuts were also leftovers that had been colored with sponge daubers during the application process... and used to stencil the envelopes. One must never waste the colors that we have available, right?!

The ribbon is from my favorite ribbon combo pack - Magnolia Lane! Linen thread wrapped around twice and tied off with a bow is the perfect finishing touch to this clean and simple card.
