Welcome to The Joy of Sets Something New Blog Hop - June 2019! You are visiting Angie McKenzie from the USA.
The Joy of Sets is a closed Facebook group created by the lovely Fiona Whitehead from England. The group is full of Stampin' Up!® enthusiasts who share the love of all things Stampin' Up! - both old and new. This month's theme is Something New using any brand products.
The Stampin' Up!® 2019-2020 Annual Catalog | Creativity is Calling is now available and it is filled with lots of gorgeousness that can spark your creativity. Today's card features several new goodies that I couldn't wait to use. Inspiring Iris (new!) is a Two-Step Photopolymer stamp set with lovely script sentiments. The outlines were calling to me to be colored instead of stamped so that's just what I did.
The trellis-like stamp was stamped and off stamped several times in Seaside Spray in the upper left corner of the Whisper White layer to compliment the blooms. The ribbon was adhered to the layer with Tear & Tape Adhesive. The blooms were adhered with liquid glue. Next the layer was adhered to the Seaside Spray panel. Followed by the addition of pearls and a small Linen Thread bow.
The petal stamp from Tasteful Textures (new!) was off-stamped in Crumb Cake onto the front panel of the Thick Whisper White card base. The Seaside Spray layer was adhered with liquid glue.
For the inside, the blooms were stamped and colored to compliment the front. The sentiment (love the two fonts!) from Tasteful Textures fit perfectly alongside the blooms.
I hope you have been inspired by my project today. There are several of us participating in this blog hop so be sure to hop around each of the blogs to see all the inspiration as you sure don't want to miss any!

I adore this card Angie - so many lovely things to look at and the great colours - thank you for being part of the blog hop x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Fiona! The new In Colors are a beautiful addition to our color spectrum. xx
DeleteWhat a perfect card. I just love it. Those ribbons have been sitting on my desk looking at me begging me to use them, they're just so pretty and excellent value. I find the texture of them makes them feel just perfect for card making with them being slightly stiffer than most ribbon. You've inspired me to get on and use them today <3
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andrea! So glad I've inspired you to use your ribbons as they are AHH-MAZING!!! Full of texture! <3
DeleteBeautiful card with such a lot of detail and the little flower images are delightful x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jane. I love this new stamp set!!!
DeleteThis is such a beautiful card Angie, all of the extra stamped details inside the card and on the envelope just lift it to another level of loveliness x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Anne Marie. The inside of the card and the envelope are just as important to stamp as the card front itself. xx
