The image was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock with Stazon Jet Black ink. The coloring was done with Night of Navy, Early Expresso, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie watercolor pencils. The skin tone was not colored so that the recipient could imagine the tones themselves... The bottom of the foot had to be colored (I adore little feet!) as it would be muddy from the damp ground that was underfoot. The colors were lightly washed with an Aqua Painter for the watercolor effect which also softened the pencil strokes.
COLORING TIP: Due to the tip of my Aqua Painter splaying as I was coloring the overall straps, a tad bit of blue ran onto the skin. Once dry, the Blender pen helped with removing the color.
The sentiment from To A Wild Rose was stamped in Blueberry Bushel. The Shimmery White layer was adhered to a width shortened piece of Night of Navy cardstock to assist with creating a floating layer above the Corrugated embossed piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. The floating layer was adhered to the Blueberry Bushel cardbase with Adhesive Strips which had been colored along the sides with the Light Night of Night Blends.
The inside sentiment was the perfect wording for this special friend of mine. It's been a while since I've seen her and I know she'll love knowing how much I appreciate our friendship.
