Hello, and welcome to another Global Creative INKspirations monthly post with me and my friend across the waters, Tania Tobin! Can you believe that June is almost over?!? I know I can't and I'm sure that Tania will agree with me... because time flies when you're having fun and we've both been having fun with all the NEW products that we have received from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog | Creativity Calling!!!! So, yes, this month we are focusing on the New Catalogue (aka Catalog)!
The new annual catalog is so delightful! The new products, the new offerings, the new stamp sets, the new layout, etc. There's just so much excitement exuding about so many things!
Today, I am showcasing the Butterfly Wishes stamp set on page 18 of the Annual Catalog. It is one of our Distinktive stamp sets! What is Distinktive you might ask? Well, the stamps (available in red rubber and photopolymer) have a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step. This makes the stamped images have a photo-realistic style about them. Take a look!

The Stamparatus was initially used with the design of this card,
but the Clear Blocks came in handy for most of it...
This picture from the catalog was the inspiration for my card...
and I'm sure I'll be completing CAS(e)ing the inspiration before the catalog retires!
Cut the Mint Macaron card base to make a vertical top folding card. Cut two Crumb Cake cardstock layers to 4" x 5-1/4". Cut two Shimmer White cardstock layers to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".
Using the Stamparatus, line up one Shimmery White layer and hinge-stamp the tree limb twice using Mint Macaron ink while being sure to shift slightly to the left for the second stamping. For the third branch, make the appropriate adjustments on the Stamparatus or transfer to a clear block. Stamp the Butterfly and sentiment as shown.
Using clear blocks, stamp the two butterfly images randomly along the right side of the card front.
Lining up the Shimmery White layer with the Crumb Cake layer, carefully tear the edges in a top to bottom downward pattern. After the two layers with liquid adhesive. Wrap linen thread around both panels three times tying off with a bow. Adhere to the card front with liquid adhesive.
Repeat the same above steps for the inside layers.
And while you're stamping the inside, be sure to also stamp the front and back flap!
You may also go a step further and die cut an envelope liner with a coordinating DSP that you may have in your stash for that extra special touch.
