Today's cards are the last of the cards that I made during my first stamping frenzy with this incredible SAB stamp set, Painted Seasons, and coordinating dies! I highly recommend that if you love this set and haven't already earned it that you make your decision(s) quickly as the SAB coordination products are becoming unavailable a lot sooner than many anticipated.
When I originally stamped these beautiful blooms, I stamped some on Whisper White cardstock and some on Shimmery White. After using the framelits cut them out, it never dawned on me separate them... so these last two cards, believe it or not, each have a Whisper White bloom on the top. And I didn't even notice it until I was photographing them!!!
So what did I do?!? Retake the pictures after adding some Clear Wink of Stella, of course!
Why did I do this, you ask?!? Everything else had been stamped on Shimmery White
except for the three items that were winked after assembly!!!
And if you squint just a little bit, you might notice a leaf that I had to add some WOS to also! **wink**
Both of these cards were redesigned from my original thinking while I was doing my original stamping. The card with the linen thread was originally envisioned to look like the one without the linen thread and the front of the later was supposed to have been the inside panel until I thought that I actually had enough goodies to create TWO cards not just one! Between the extra flowers, leaves and rectangle panels (thanks to the fabulous double detailed Stitched Rectangles framelits)... why let the extras sit around, right?!?
Using the leftover sprig diecuts for the inside panels allowed me to use the outside flowers as showcased vs using them for the inside!
Using two different, yet, similar sentiments (one is #simplestamping and the other is off-stamped) makes them unique in their own way. And we mustn't forget to stamp the envelopes... giving the recipient a sneak peek of what's inside always adds to the excitement when one receives happy mail! And violà ! you're ready to write a note whenever needed. #handmadecardsarethebest #happydanceatthemailbox
I hope these cards have inspired to create TWO cards whenever possible instead of just one!
