Today's blog hop is all about the Second Release of Sale-A-Bration products that were available on the 15th. Aren't these flowers absolutely GORGEOUS?!? Due to happenings around our household, I had to borrow these INCREDIBLE second release items from my sweet upline. I must say that these are some products that I wish I had now!!! So thankful that I got to borrow them so I made a few extras of these lovelies!
Enough about how much I ADORE these products... here are the two cards that I made for today's blog hop! Taking inspiration from the wonderful Kim Fee and her downline Emma Goddard, I chose to case the top center card on the 2019 Occasions Catalog.
The lovely Gingham Gala DSP cut into 1/2" strips creates the raised diagonal background. The new Painted Seasons Cling Stamp Set with coordinating framelits (*available as a coordinating purchase during March or now for demos!) created the floral arrangement within the frame created with two Stitched Rectangles Framelits which were adhered with Adhesive Foam Strips.
The sentiment comes from the Butterfly Gala Cling Stamp Set.
And, no, the Pearl Basic Jewels are not yellow...
they are just picking up the reflection of the yellow in the photographs!
Scraps were perfect for adding to the inside and the envelope flap!
And while making one card, we must make a second card with the negative image! The Country Floral DTIEF is my FAVORITE item from the second release of products... it is sooo lush and the things that we can do with it are limitless so be sure to pop back for some more inspiration!
The embossed background was almost the same size as the original negative
so that was inspiration for this "floating" vellum front.
The sentiment from Home to Roost was fussy cut to blend in with the flower and leaves.
Embossing strips for the inside and the envelope flap were the perfect way to finish off this card along with the Linen Thread wrap around and bow.
