So am I the only one that fell in love with the window decals flanked around the Starbucks® doors this past holiday season?!? I loved the airy design and colors that greeted me at the entrance... but, when it was my time to leave with my to-go order, my heart sank when "the design" was not on my cup. Can you blame me when I spotted something familiar at my local grocery Starbucks store, that, yessiree, made an impulse buy occur?!? I hope not!!!
Off-stamped Pool Party along with Poppy Parade were the colors that my eyes fell in love with! This card was so much fun to create! The background for the coffee cups was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock using the leaf from Flourishing Phrases and the berries from the now retired Peaceful Noel stamp sets. The cups and lids were die cut and elevated on various foam adhesives for depth. The Corrugated DTIEF helped to complete the design element with Crumb Cake cardstock along with Tranquil Tide cardstock on a Pool Party cardbase.
The same pattern was repeated on the inside panels along with the sentiment from Coffee Cafe which is perfect for my upline, who was my travel companion to OnStage. I hope that she will enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed creating it for her as a memoir for our trip together to Orlando. Always try to make sure that you allow plenty of room inside your card(s) for a handwritten note; thus, sometimes making an additional inside panel is the perfect touch.
And while you have your stamps out - before cleaning them with Stampin' Mist sprayed on the Stampin' Scrub and putting them away until their next use, please remember to NOT neglect the envelope! Giving the recipient a sneak peek of what's inside is always a much appreciated extra hug from the sender!
I hope that today's card has inspired you in some small way, motivated you to you some neglected stamp items help you get busy creating or helped you look at the things around you from a different view! #inspirationiseverywhere
